Shannon is a gifted communication and marketing strategist who, over the past 20 years, has made a name for herself creating game-changing communication & health and wellness initiatives that facilitate organizational and personal growth for some of Texas' most beloved brands.

Shannon has consulted with large organizations, non-profits, and small businesses alike and has deep expertise in working with companies with non-desk employees, multiple-location businesses, retail brands, and professional companies with remote workers. As Founder and CEO of Shannon Communications, she believes in a collaborative approach - pulling from a trusted network of graphic artists, videographers, and subject matter experts when needed in order to connect the dots, and deliver solutions that work.

In addition, Shannon is a Certified Health Coach, working with individuals one-on-one or with various employers to create engaging programming that helps them reach their health and wellness goals.

Shannon has also served as a featured speaker and mentor for Joven San Antonio and Teach Across America. Her writings have been featured in HR News, HR Daily Advisor, Power Magazine, Oilman Magazine, Startups San Antonio, and Recruiter.com.

She and her husband have two teen daughters (see “The Interns”) who share their parents' passion for fashion, travel, and their Anatolian Shepherd, Bruce.

Mikayla is a talented individual who uses her creativity as a driving force in everything she undertakes. Aside from Social Media coordination, Mikayla is the Visual Merchandising manager at a retail store and is currently in the master’s program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has a passion for creating meaningful content that enlightens and educates others.

Helping Hands

These faces may look familiar to you - for years “The Interns” have lent their talents to many a print and digital campaign for some of Texas’ most well-known brands and destinations. During weekend or summer productions, it’s not unusual to see them on set helping out and quietly giggling with each other sharing the latest chisme. When not busy interning, you can find them on the court (basketball, volleyball, and tennis respectively) or on their phones.

Paul Alanis

Sr. Visual Designer

Paul is veteran creative with an eye and passion for good design. He is as skilled at creating eye-catching graphics as he is shooting compelling stories through video. In previous roles at both Fortune 500 and startup organizations, Paul oversaw brand development, visual design, social media and email, and video production.

Today, he serves as Visual Designer and Filmmaker, overseeing the execution of creative strategy, and bringing client’s brands and stories to life in a tangible, high-impact way.

When not on set you can still find him behind a camera - shooting video and photos, skateboarding, and spending time with his wife and daughter (see “The Interns”).

Kim Harle-Solis

Kim has almost 20 years of experience providing crisis management, public relations, and political consulting services for brands, non-profits and high profile individuals.

Working collaboratively with clients to establish target audience, Kim helps to identify gaps and opportunities, and develop effective communication strategies that cut through the noise, including handling critical and sensitive business issues, such as executive transitions, economic development issues, community engagement initiatives, product safety, creative media placements, community perception analysis, food safety and recalls, and reputation management.

As the daughter of a Judge and Teacher, Kim is an active community advocate, with a passion for early education. She and her husband have two young children.

Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor

With over 15 years of experience and training, Alexis specializes in therapy for children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.

She works to construct solutions for clients’ difficulties based on their unique life experiences. Together with the client, she helps them discover their inner resources and understanding of what they are going through in a safe, peaceful setting.

Alexis believes that our mind-body connection is strong, and our bodies let us know when we are not getting something we need. Signs of unmet needs can be mood imbalance, problematic behavior, substance abuse, sleep disturbance, and disrupted close relationships. In addressing unmet needs, we can find balance in order to live a healthy life.

Alexis is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor.
Marcus Sanchez

Certified Personal Trainer

An NCAA Athlete in Football and Track, Marcus has a natural affinity for movement and helping others, and has excelled as a certified fitness professional for over 10 years. Throughout his career, he has taken on many roles; acting as General Manager and Fitness Director, but it is Personal Training and working with individuals and groups that he is most passionate.

As Founder of Fit Flex Training, he believes that fitness is a lifestyle. His mission is to help you understand how to move your body frequently and efficiently to reach your goals by providing flexible programs that fit into YOUR every day schedule.

Outside of fitness Marcus is a dad to a beautiful baby girl, has a son on the way, and enjoys spending his free time with his family.
